ABOUT ME

I grew up on a farm in rural Derbyshire and after attending Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School I progressed to Derby College of Art. After gaining my Diploma I worked in several agencies as a graphic designer and later worked as an Art Tutor in a high security prison.
Following my retirement I was able to pursue my interest in art further by deciding to run my own art classes in Ashbourne and Uttoxeter and also producing artworks of the local area.
I am able to work to commission and also private tutoring.
In 2022 I took part in Sky Arts "Landscape artist of the Year'. Although I didn't win, it was a great experience.
My commissions include Portraits both in oil and pencil, Landscapes and private houses, Motor sport plus many other subjects.
